The Cicada is very much enlarged and slightly abstracted to emphasize the armored quality of the cicada's body. The exaggerated interpretation is meant to echo the strident noise and transient fear experienced when a cicada flies at you on a late summer afternoon, while still preserving the natural beauty of the insect. Castings are available. Delivery time is 4 weeks. Also available in cold-cast bronze or garden casting media.
