Wasp is a relief that concentrates on the body of the insect. Viewed from the side, the complexity of the body is depicted with measured contrasts in size and texture of the various segments so it becomes the dominant element. The head is shown at an angle to better show the antennae. and contrasting textures add character to the design.

This is one of a series of tiles depicting various insects. Other insects in the series are: Dragonfly, Butterfly, Bumblebee and Cricket.
