Eagle
Portrait is our newest limited edition, and continues
the artist's interest in birds that started with African
Crown Crane. This sculpture is a tribute to the bald eagle,
the symbol of the United States. It is done in the style of a portrait
bust, but of course it's an eagle, not a person. It is supported
above a casting of a piece of driftwood, which acts to complete
the depiction of the eagle's spirit, as well as providing stability
to the piece. Available in Cold Cast Bronze--a more economical choice
of media.

Crown Crane

Crown Crane -- is only available
in bronze. It's base (not shown) can be a mat finished gold marble
or walnut. It's the second of an edition of 20. I
first saw the African Crown Crane in the Phoenix Zoo, and immediately
fell in love with him. He was preening his feathers just as he appears
in the sculpture and seemed to know he was beautiful. For more information
