WHAT'S NEW

I'm currently working on a sculpture to be cast in bronze of Adam and Eve when they find Abel's body. It is a very detailed and complicated piece, so it takes a lot of time. No finish date in sight. When I get pictures, I'll post them here.

SuperMom -------------------------------------------------------------------- Flamingo

SuperMom -- (18"H x 11"L x 8"W) is meant to highlight the irony of modern American mothers who are so busy making their family’s lives perfect that they miss their own. The joy of the toddler as she heads for the beach with her dog contrasts with her mother’s thoughtful expression. The mother has brought everything they should need, and now she is planning supper instead of enjoying her daughter’s excitement. It would make a good gift for a new mother to gently remind her to enjoy her life. Available only in bronze.

Flamingo -- (15"H x 9"L x 6"W) is the third in my bird series. I was impressed with the serenity of this bird that was unruffled by my presence, even though I stood less than 12' from him at the zoo. It stands on one leg, on a mud flat, grooming it's feathers, and the contrast of the rough scales of his legs against the softer shapes of his feathers is very realistic. Available only in bronze.

Both sculptures are available as a limited edition when ordered with a lead-time of one month before the delivery date. Either could add just the right touch to an end table, mantle, book shelf or reception desk.

African Crown Crane and The SPCA Wall of Honor at their new facility in McKinney

African Crown Crane -- (above) is approximately 17" (h) x 10" (w) x 7.5" (d), and weighs 30 pounds. It's base (not shown) is walnut. A limited edition of 20, all to be cast in bronze, although the bases can vary.

SPCA COMMISSION -- If you haven't seen it yet, this is my Wall of Honor piece that was installed at the McKinney SPCA in October of 2005. (James Bias, President of SPCA of TX is shown with me.).
